About Carol

Carol’s Cakes Galway is a small business run by Carol Gannon who has over 20 years’ experience in the food industry. Carol is a fully qualified pastry chef and over the years has received many awards for her skills in the industry.

She is also a qualified PME tutor and teaches the art of cake decorating. Carol’s HSE registered home kitchen is where all of her creations are baked and decorated using natural, fresh ingredients.

At Carol’s Cakes Galway, each wedding cake is custom designed to reflect personal preferences and style, making each cake uniquely its own. She is conveniently located just minutes off the main Gort / Galway road which makes it easy for customers to call in for consultations, during which they get to sample some of the mouth-watering cakes, view the range of spectacular cakes on show and peruse her extensive portfolio.

Her goal with every cake is that they taste as good as they look and that its not just a cake but a centrepiece and focal point for your special occasion, be it a wedding, birthday, christening, communion or confirmation.
